The Alabama Shakespeare Theatre is the only professional theatre in the country that stages a rotating repertory of classical works with a live-in acting troupe. Located in the capital city of Montgomery, Alabama, Alabama Shakespeare Festival is the sixth largest Shakespeare Festival in the world and attracts more than 300,000 annual visitors from all 50 states and over 60 countries.

The Alabama Music Hall of Fame was formed by the Muscle Shoals Music Association to honour the state’s great music achievers including Tammy Wynette, Hank Williams, The Commodores, Nat King Cole, Dinah Washington and more.

The Huntsville Museum of Art features world-class travelling exhibitions, regional shows, and a permanent collection.

The Mobile Museum of Art in beautiful Langan Park is the largest art museum along the Gulf Coast from New Orleans to Tampa. The 95,000 square foot facility is the setting for a permanent collection of over 8,000 works of art spanning two centuries of culture, as well as world renowned travelling exhibitions and regional shows.

The Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts is the oldest fine arts museum in Alabama.  Noted for its survey collection of American paintings and sculpture, the Museum also boasts an impressive collection of Old Master prints, Southern regional art, and decorative arts.

The Birmingham Museum of Art has one of the finest collections in the Southeastern USA. More than 24,000 objects represent a rich panorama of cultures, including Asian, European, American, African, Pre-Columbian, and Native American. Highlights include the Museum’s collection of Asian art.
