- Friday, 17 May 2013 13:34
Memphis has always offered unique tours of the city, everything from weaving through downtown on a Segway to singing along with Memphis musicians aboard a vintage bus, but starting the 1st May you can see Memphis at your own pace courtesy of the Memphis Hop…
Hop On. Tune in. Rock out. Get on the bus and take in Memphis' unique and vibrant culture as you ride the nonstop loop connecting eleven major attractions. From the Jungle Room at Graceland to the jungle cats at the Memphis Zoo, soulful bass lines at the Stax Museum of American Soul Music to base line drives at AutoZone Park, the Memphis Hop tour bus makes it easy to explore attractions at your own pace.
If you don't have a car, or just want to use someone else's fuel, for one low price the Memphis Hop will make shuttle stops at 11 Memphis attractions each hour. Without a doubt, one of Memphis' best sightseeing values is the Memphis Hop. Spend as much time as you wish exploring & sightseeing before you board the next bus to continue your tour. The Memphis Hop is a convenient way to see the city or Memphis! The HopStops are within walking distance to most Downtown Memphis hotels and shuttles are wheelchair and kid friendly.
You can purchase your tickets at MemphisHop.com, on the Memphis Hop bus, at the Memphis Rock'n'Soul Museum, AutoZone Park box office and Graceland. Admission fees to attractions are not included in the tour price, but once you're all signed up the Memphis Hop will provide you with a big ol' book of coupons with up to $70 in attractions discounts. The price for adults is $20 and $15 for children ages 12–17. Children under 12 travel for free. The Memphis Hop bus operates 10:30am–7pm, Tuesday–Sunday all year round. A nonstop loop would take two hours to complete.
