Welcome Centres in Georgia

Georgia’s 11 Visitor Information Centers serve as a gateway to the state and are located on major travel arteries in Augusta, Columbus, Kingsland, Lavonia, Plains, Ringgold, Savannah, Tallapoosa, Valdosta, West Point and Sylvania. Travelers are greeted by information specialists who provide valuable travel information, directions and traffic updates, weather conditions and book hotel rooms. The state travel guide, maps, a variety of brochures and other collateral materials are available to those traveling to or through Georgia. Centers are open daily from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm and restrooms are open from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm. The centers are closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
