Tennessee prepares for its biggest sporting event yet!

Super Bowl LXIV in Nashville, 2030

For the first time in history, Tennessee will host the biggest annual event in American sport when Super Bowl LXIV comes to Nashville in February 2030. The NFL's decision marks a milestone not only for the city but for the entire state, cementing Nashville's reputation as one of America's premier destinations for major sporting events, live entertainment and unforgettable visitor experiences.

The Super Bowl is far more than a championship game. It is a week-long festival that attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors from across the United States and around the world. Fans can expect concerts, celebrity appearances, fan festivals, interactive NFL experiences and countless events throughout the city, all culminating in one of the world's most watched sporting spectacles.

A Historic First for Tennessee

Although Nashville has become synonymous with world-class entertainment, music and professional sport, the state has never previously hosted a Super Bowl. The game will be played at the new Nissan Stadium, the future home of the Tennessee Titans. Scheduled to open in 2027, the state-of-the-art enclosed stadium has been specifically designed to host the world's biggest sporting events and concerts.

Music City Takes Centre Stage

Few cities are better equipped to entertain visitors than Nashville. Known worldwide as Music City, visitors can expect Broadway's famous bars to be packed with live performances from morning until late at night. Legendary venues such as the Ryman Auditorium and the Grand Ole Opry are also likely to play an important role in celebrations, while concerts featuring internationally renowned artists traditionally accompany the NFL's biggest week.

For many visitors, the opportunity to combine the Super Bowl with Nashville's famous music scene will make the trip even more memorable.

More Than Just Football

While the Super Bowl is the headline event, visitors will discover there is much more to enjoy during their stay in Tennessee.

The city is home to attractions including the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, the National Museum of African American Music, the Johnny Cash Museum and the lively restaurants and bars lining Broadway. Sports fans can also explore the city's growing professional sports scene, with the Tennessee Titans, Nashville Predators and Nashville SC all calling the city home.

Just beyond Nashville, Tennessee offers scenic drives, whiskey distilleries, historic Civil War sites and outdoor adventures that make extending a Super Bowl trip well worthwhile.

Planning Ahead

Although 2030 may seem some time away, demand for accommodation during Super Bowl week is expected to be exceptionally high. Visitors planning to attend should consider booking hotels as soon as they become available and allow extra time for exploring everything Nashville has to offer beyond game day.

Whether you're fortunate enough to secure a ticket to the game itself or simply want to experience the electric atmosphere surrounding America's biggest sporting event, Super Bowl LXIV promises to be a once-in-a-generation occasion for Tennessee.

For Deep South USA visitors, it offers the perfect opportunity to combine world-class sport with legendary live music, outstanding Southern cuisine and the warm hospitality that has made Nashville one of the South's most exciting destinations. February 2030 will undoubtedly be a landmark moment in Tennessee's history - and an unforgettable time to experience Music City at its very best.
