The listings for the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, presented by Shell, have been announced with a spectacular line up of artists. The mission of the Festival is to celebrate the culture and heritage of New Orleans and Louisiana alongside nationally and internationally renowned guest artists.
This year's performers include Elton John, Tony Bennett & Lady GaGa, The Who, Ed Sheeran, The Ojays, Chicago, No Doubt, John Legend and Paloma Faith. JazzFest regulars and home grown talents include Trombone Shorty, Kermit Ruffins, Irma Thomas, Soul Rebels, Irvin Mayfield and Allen Toussaint. The full line-up is available at nojazzfest.com.
The Festival will present more than 500 bands during the seven-day event with over eighty percent of the performers hailing from the city and region. JazzFest takes place at the Fair Grounds Race Course and will once again feature twelve stages of music in such varied genres as rock, pop, R&B, gospel, blues, traditional and contemporary jazz, Cajun, zydeco and much more.
