The Elvis '68 Comeback Special is showing at a cinema near you...for one day only!
This year marks the 50th anniversary of arguably Elvis’ crowning achievement in his spectacular career; The ‘68 Comeback Special. This televised event made history as it saw Elvis return to performing in front of a live audience after years of making movies in Hollywood. Elvis dressed in black leather, Elvis in the white ‘If I Can Dream’ suit (shown above) and many other parts of this event have gone down in the books as being some of the most iconic images of Elvis.
To mark the occasion The ‘68 Comeback Special’ will be screened in cinemas around the UK to mark the 50th anniversary of its airing. The screenings will only take place on 16th August and a full list of cinemas can be found here:
CinEvents, Fathom Events and ABG are bringing this special screening to cinemas around the UK. This unique and one-off event will include the legendary television special plus an exclusive look at the making of the show featuring a walkthrough of the NBC soundstage with insights from producer Steve Binder and Priscilla Presley bought to you by Event Producers Spencer Proffer and Marc Rosen.
