Since 2010, food trucks have been a staple on the Baton Rouge culinary scene. It all started with a snow ball truck and then social media, before it blossomed into a fully-fledged food truck revolution!

Baton Rouge Food Truck Festival

On any weekday, Louisiana’s capital city is dotted with mobile vendors dishing up delicious food-to-go. Plus every Wednesday, there’s the BR Wroundup: a collection of Baton Rouge's food trucks all in just one location. Some nights there's even live local music too!

Here's a run down of just few of Baton Rouge's Food Trucks:

Taco de Paco: Chopped steak, pulled pork, black bean and chicken tacos all served in flour or corn tortillas, plus a variety of specials.

Fresh Junkie: Dishing up healthy salads and wraps with lightning fast speed! Premium, organic, natural and most importantly FRESH ingredients all topped off with homemade dressings. You can watch how they make their most popular wraps on Youtube to recreate at home.

Chicken Shack Express: The Delpit family have been serving fried chicken for over 75 years in Baton Rouge and now they've taken it to the streets too.  This is amazing fried chicken, served with their signature Shack Balls or vegetables prepared southern style, of course.

Pullin' Pork: This is a husband and wife team that offer a variety of pork and brisket dishes that include sandwiches, tacos and nachos. Try their homemade sides and banana pudding too for the full meal deal!

Three Bones BBQ: Serving "barbaCajun" dishes and burgers. Three Bones BBQ specialise in homemade boudin, tasso, andouille, sauces, pickles and jellies.
