Mandatory Seat Belt Laws in Mississippi

Drive and front-seat passengers must wear seat belts and children under 4 years of age must be restrained in a suitable car seat.

Regulations on the Natchez Trace Parkway

The speed limit on the Natchez Trace Parkway is 50mph, unless otherwise posted. Hauling and commercial trucking are not allowed along the historic thoroughfare. Charter buses may receive a special permit from the Natchez Trace Parkway headquarters by contacting them.
