For the first time listings and links to information regarding Louisiana's major music festivals, live music venues, historical music sites, recurring concert series and jam sessions can be found in one, easy to navigate location. Summer is festival season in Louisiana; Satchmo Summerfest in New Orleans will celebrate the life and music of Louis Armstrong in August, followed by the New Orleans Red Dress Run and celebrate Southern Decadence. Throughout Louisiana you will find summer seafood festivals, music festivals and festivals to celebrate peaches, watermelons and even the strawberry!
