Booming Birmingham in Alabama adds a new hotel and entertainment complex
The new four-diamond Westin hotel and adjacent evtertainment complex is on target to open in Birmingham, Alabama's largest city, in January 2013. It will be a wonderful addition to Birmingham for both business and leisure travellers. This $70 million project brings an entertainment district of restaurants, retail shops and nightclubs withing walking distance of the new Westin hotel making it easy for visitors to sample this vibrant city's love of food and music. The Westin, combined with the 757-room Sheraton Birmingham, will allow the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Centre to have 1,000 hotel rooms within walking distance.
Songwriters Festival in Alabama
