Graceland officially kicks off the festive season!

Graceland officially kicked off the festive season on Friday 16th November with the Graceland Annual Lighting Ceremony. The lights are on from 16th November until 8th January, Elvis' birthday, and the tour of Graceland is extra special with the interior and exterior decorated. See hundreds of blue lights along the driveway and many original displays by Elvis including his traditional red velvet drapes and Presley family artefacts.

Every year on the days leading up to Elvis' birthday Memphis celebrates with a variety of Elvis-themed events. Click for more information on the 2013 Elvis birthday celebrations.

Elvis' birthplace in Tupelo, Mississippi also hosts Elvis' Birthday Party, which is earlier next year taking place January 5th 2013, with a party, dinner, cutting of the cake and special guests. More information...


Greyhound announces new luxury service with Greyhound Express

Greyhound has announced that Greyhound Express, its non-stop service between major cities, has recently expanded with seven new markets opening including: 

Atlanta - Montgomery - Birmingham - Mobile -
New Orleans - Baton Rouge

Four daily round trips will be available on the Atlanta to Houston route. Greyhound Express buses are equipped with features such as free Wi-Fi, power outlets, leather seats, reserved seating and extra legroom. The service also includes private waiting areas so if you want to be driven around in style as quickly as possible then this is just the service for you! More information...

The Charming Chattahoochee Trace!

The Chattahoochee Trace straddles the historic Chattahoochee River along the Alabama-Georgia border. Here throughout this resplendent river corridor, visitors discover Antebellum homes, picturesque lakes, fishing holes, parks and wilderness.

Eufala in Barbour County, is known for it's beautiful historic district and every April welcomes hundreds of visitors to it's Annual Pilgrimage which is Alabama's oldest tour of homes and includes several special events including arts, antiques and wine tasting. There are Christmas tours too where visitors can experience Christmas as never before in some of the South's finest homes!

One of the top whitewater companies in the world will be providing rafting adventures starting in August 2013 in downtown Phenix City, a neighbour of Eufala.
