The all-star concert honours the memorable soul sounds from the mid- to late-1960s that came from Memphis, Tennessee, and legendary labels like Stax Records, which featured artists such as Al Green, Mavis Staples, Carla Thomas, Otis Redding and many more. Sampling Tours now available at Jack Daniels Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee
Jack Daniel's have always offered distillery tours daily from 9am–4.30pm, which usually last about an hour & is a walking tour with steps included, mostly outdoors. However, Jack Daniel's are now offering a sample tour to people of legal drinking age (21 years old in the US, proof of ID is needed for everyone). Four tours are available Monday through to Thursday and on Fridays and Saturdays there are three tour times available. Tours are on a first come, first served basis so arrive early! Sir Cliff Richard is in Nashville to record a covers album of classic rock 'n' roll songs.

Birmingham, Alabama makes 'Today' show list of six hot places to visit in 2013
Birmingham was ranked among two other American cities and three international destinations in a NBC 'Today' US Show list of the hottest places to visit in 2013. Birmingham, Alabama was mentioned due to the 2013 commemoration of the 1963 Civil Rights Movement in Birmingham and due to the city's affordability for travellers.
