Alabama's Oyster Cook-off
This annual early November event is both a culinary and music event. It brings together chefs from all over the country competing for prize money for whoever prepares oysters the best! This years event has added a Craft Beer night too. The venue is the Hangout in Gulf Shores, which has a music focus all year-round.

New Exhibit At Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum opens March 2015
Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum announces next major exhibition: Dylan, Cash and the Nashville Cats: A New Music City. The exhibit will explore the magical time of the late 1960s and early '70s when major artists such as Paul McCartney, Simon & Garfunkel, Neil Young and Leonard Cohen all recorded in Music City.
