Which Amtrak Stations are in Tennessee?

Currently, Tennessee offers 2 Amtrak stations - both of which are on the western side of the state:  Memphis Central Station and Newbern-Dyersburg. These are on the City of New Orleans route, which operates one daily train in each direction between Chicago and New Orleans. Nashville doesn't have direct train service, but Amtrak Thruway buses provide a handy connecting service to Nashville and Clarksville, which can easily be booked with your Amtrak ticket.

Memphis Central Station...

• Located at 545 South Main Street, this is Tennessee’s primary Amtrak hub which serves the City of New Orleans route, and is by far the state’s busiest rail station. This is a very walkable area of downtown Memphis - you can easily reach the National Civil Rights Museum, the Blues Hall of Fame, and Central BBQ. If you need overnight accommodations before or after your Antrak adventure, the Central Station Memphis Hotel is right next door.
• This impressive historic building, originally constructed in 1914, has been hugely renovated and now offers a boutique hotel, theatre, and other amenities, in addition to being a full-service Amtrak station.

Newbern-Dyersburg Station...

• Located at 108 Jefferson Street, Newbern, TN 38059, this station serves the Dyersburg area in northwest Tennessee.
• It's an unstaffed flag stop on the City of New Orleans route, serving Newbern and nearby Dyersburg for passengers who have tickets to and from the station. 
• Built by the Illinois Central Railroad in 1920, it currently functions as both a charming railroad museum and an Amtrak station.
